Paul Murphy

Paul is Chief Executive of Valid Nutrition, a social enterprise that is committed to leading change in the way malnutrition is addressed, through a distinctive customer and business driven approach. The company develops and markets innovative foods targeted at consumers at the base of the pyramid. Valid currently has operations in several countries in Africa and projects underway in Asia as well.

A graduate of Trinity College Dublin in Economics and Business Administration, Paul started his career with Unilever as a Management Trainee. He spent 27 years with Unilever in a variety of different roles and countries and was formerly Chairman and Managing Director of Unilever Ireland.

Paul began working with Dr Steve Collins, the founder of Valid Nutrition, in 2009 and has been Chief Executive since 2010.
