Martin Hollinetz

Far away from the big cities, our jury member Martin Hollinetz sees huge potential. In order to counter the brain drain in rural areas, and to help the many people, who have to leave behind their beloved hometowns, he founded OTELO in 2010.It is a network made up by "open technology laboratories" in the countryside, where people find the infrastructure, space and the community to work on and realise their ideas. In these laboratories, where agriculture meets robotics or media meets art, truly innovative synergies emerge... smart stuff huh?! We are super excited to have this brilliant Ashoka fellow on board!
