Bettervest is an awesome equity-based crowdfunding platform for energy efficiency projects that lets the crowd participate in the cost savings.

We allow the crowd to invest in different energy efficient technologies – from LEDs, to combined power plants, to new cooling or climatization systems, to pumping systems – that reduce the energy costs of the project owners (SMEs, NGOs, Local Authorities).  We collect the money on an escrow account until the funding goal has been reached and the project can be realized, and make sure that each project has been analysed by an external energy efficiency consultant.

Bettervest believes in incentivizing people to do good.  Our vision is to make ordinary people the biggest investors and beneficiaries of the "Energiewende"!
